What People Feel
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Family tradition restaurant serving affordable food. They serve Guinobatan's longganiza (sausage), which is a native delicacy of the place."
"It's okay. We ordered: Loglog 5/5 (not bad for our first time) Kinalas 5/5 Bulaksilog 5/5 Chilisilog 3/5 (idk what to expect, tasted like giniling)"
"If you are looking for an events hall/space to rent that is good for at least 50-120 pax, Big Mike's Acacia 2nd flr is not bad at all.. The place though is not air-conditioned but since there are trees outside, hindi naman sya mainit sa hall... Last Oct.8, 2018, we were able to rent the hall for only Php5000 for the baptismal celebration of our son. (Note: We hired another caterer for the event.) As for the restaurant (groud flr), foods on their menu are actually good for a very affordable price. No, "good" is an understatement so I shall say "excellent".. Yes, I've tried everything on their menu.. One of my favorites is their BULAKSILOG. Masarap, promise.. Especially the SPICY BULAKSILOG! you must try! Another people's favorite (actually this is the one they are famous at) is their KINALAS. Wala akong masabi sa lasa talaga coz its perfect! 'Yun nga lang, habang tumatagal kumokonti 'yung servings nila which is I think acceptable naman kasi sobrang mahal na ng mga bilihin. But I won't mind, bibili at bibili pa rin ako ng kinalas sakanila. If there is one thing that I think kapuna puna sakanila is the counter. Kasi pagpasok mo ng restaurant, ang bubungad tlga sa'yo is yung counter nila. So, if you are the type of customer that expects for a warm welcome, I'm sorry, but that woman on the counter is cooold. As you enter, you won't hear a "welcome sir/maam or good morning/afternoon sir/maam." Same as when you get out of the restaurant, you won't hear anything like "thank you sir/maam." Walang ganun sakanila. But anyway, the place, the food is overall fine!"
"Puto! Kinalas! These stand out among the menu. Grab one bilao of puto for dine in or takeout and partner it with a sumptous bowl of kinalas. Trust me if you can't go to Naga City for its kinalas, then Big Mike's is a must go."
"Delicious food, specially the guinobatan longganissa. Please have service water for customers."
"Had kinalas soup and guinobatan longganisa. Not bad at all for the price. Longsilog serves 5pcs longganisa (small as they are but packs a punch). Kinalas soup is generously prepared. Definitely one of my favorites in Bicol. If you're looking for a local flavor, this is one of the places to visit."
"I love their SILOG Meals. The price is reasonable. The ambiance is cozy!"
"Their meals are delicious. Highly recommended for travellers coming from north or south going to their destination. If I have my own car, I would stop here for a moment to eat before driving to Manila. Thank you."
